Flat Calm

Flat calm conditions - rare at this time of year - with a nice setting sun, meant some nice patterns and reflections on the water.

The Shortest Day...

Today was the shortest day - and just as well as the wind was gusting over 70mph in Lerwick as I was taking these images. The harbour was rammed with gulls and there were at least 8 Iceland Gulls (including the second-winter below) and 2 'Glaucs' around the Shetland Catch factory.
