The Red Tide

A couple of good days for photography during the week with blue skies and little wind. The reflections from fishing boats in the harbour were incredible - but most of the boats are bright red! The Eider below looked so stately in its 'Union Jack' water and could also pass off for a BA ad...

Hugh what's the chance and price for one of the finest and most imaginative photos I have seen in a long while. A3 or A4

Signed of course, good luck to you....I tried for this shot when living there in 1999 but only managed an Iceland sitting in the reflection of a red fishing boat stern...crap in comparison but then it was with no flash, 300mm Nikon F4 and film...how things have changed...but as I say, brilliant and a cut above the rest...me included...I wish I was there now with all the new gear, but in time its been 9 years now can you believe...all the best, Bill

Hi Anon - I used a Canon 500mm f4 for all of the images in this particular post.

Cheers
