A Postcard from Lapland

Currently guiding the winter pho-tour to Finland and Arctic Norway for Shetland Wildlife. A few pix fresh out of the camera from a couple of great days with forest birds - Pine Grosbeaks, Siberian Jays, Siberian Tits and Arctic Redpolls - in Lapland. Now off to Norway to photograph King and Steller's Eiders...

What delightful captures of these varied speices of little birds, each one is lovely. I especially like the little magenta coloured birds, looks like it was dipped in raspberry juice, also the ones the look as though their heads were dipped as well. Fun little entires~
