Red-necked Phalarope - June Wallpaper

This Red-necked Phalarope was photographed on Fetlar, on one one of our Focus on Shetland trips in June 2009. That's a truly great image.

We get tens or even hundreds of thousands of these passing offshore in mid May but they are well out at sea and impossible to photograph (unless I chartered a boat and even then i'm sure they'd fly off).
